Peer Review Proscess

Every manuscript submitted to the Journal of Counseling Support (JCS) will undergo a review process. The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by the editor, evaluated by the editorial board regarding the writing format, whether it is in accordance with the focus and scope of JCS, the accuracy of the methodology and plagiarism checks.
Then the Editor sends the manuscript at least to an anonymous reviewer with a single-blind review mechanism. The reviewer will consider the eligibility of the manuscript in terms of contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation of the writing. Reviewer comments by the section editor are then sent to the author for revision. The editor will notify the author of the review results as soon as possible, approximately within 6 to 8 weeks. Then the results of the revision will be reviewed again by the section editor, to see the suitability of the reviewer's comments with the results of the revision, and the section editor also allows to review the revised manuscript if deemed necessary. The final decision on article acceptance will be made by the Editor in accordance with the Reviewer's comments.
Accepted research articles will be available online (free download) following the journal's peer-review process. Detection of plagiarism in articles in this journal is carried out using turnitin. Authors must use the reference manager tool to write citations and references. The language used in this journal is Indonesian or English.
